Toby has more than 20 years’ experience in health economics and market access in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and consultancy. His industry experience covers roles at the Global, European, and UK levels, at all stages of the product lifecycle, and across many therapy areas. Toby enjoys helping pharmaceutical companies prepare their pipeline for the reimbursement challenges that lie ahead and advising on the strategy for communicating complex evidence to payers.
“Over the past 20 years, payer evidence needs have increased markedly. The key challenge for pharmaceutical companies is not only to continue to ensure their pipeline assets are supported by the most robust and appropriate evidence that fully expresses the value they bring to patients, but also to ensure this evidence is generated using the latest accepted techniques. The more advanced the techniques used to generate this evidence become, the greater the need to distill the data into messages that all stakeholders can understand. The most robust set of evidence needs a simple but compelling value story and proposition if it is to succeed in securing reimbursement for a pharmaceutical product. PRMA Consulting has a wealth of experienced consultants who can provide this sort of strategic advice to their clients.”
