Welcoming our new Director and Head of Market Access & HEOR in Asia-Pacific
In this update, Andrea explains how he will be driving patient access in the region.
We are delighted to welcome Andrea Latour to our Asia-Pacific (APAC) team. In his role as Director and Head of Market Access & HEOR – APAC, Andrea will be bringing over 11 years’ experience in market access and health economics to our partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
I am thrilled to join PRMA Consulting and support manufacturers in increasing and accelerating patient access to novel medications and technologies across the APAC region, and maximizing value for their pipeline.
Our clients will benefit from my deep understanding of HEOR, market access, HTA principles and methodologies, and my knowledge of the different country landscapes, regulatory environments, and business dynamics.
Staying one step ahead of HEOR and market access challenges in the APAC region
There is huge diversity in the challenges and changes those clients are facing across the APAC markets. There are questions about the affordability of high-cost medications and varying levels of government support. Clients have seen increasing levels of government support and moves towards universal health coverage systems on the one hand, then on the other hand there are increasing regulations with regards to funding high-cost technologies, often by adopting HTA.
Throughout the APAC region there are amazing opportunities with large markets and densely populated countries.
