Jan McKendrick

Executive Director and Practice Lead, Global HEOR

Jan has more than 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 4 years as a clinical trial statistician and 11 years in health outcomes at Eli Lilly in the UK. Jan played a key role in developing the strategy for engaging with NICE in its early days, and has extensive experience in developing HTA submissions.

At PRMA Consulting, Jan has led and provided strategic input into projects to develop the evidence base to support the value of products, including translating that information into supporting HTA submissions. As part of that, she has had responsibility for setting the vision for the PRMA Healthcheck® digital application, which has been used to determine evidence generation strategies to support optimal market access outcomes predominantly in Europe but also in the US and Asia-Pacific regions.

In her current role, she leads the Global HEOR practice – working with the team to design and deliver a range of projects including high quality economic modeling and both strategic and tactical RWE projects.

Jan has an MSc in medical statistics from the University of Southampton and a Postgraduate Diploma in health economics from the University of Aberdeen. She was previously a Visiting Fellow at University of Technology, Sydney.

Outside of work Jan enjoys playing tennis, taking her dog for long walks, and visiting different parts of the world (especially those with amazing food).
